These Terms govern your use of this website and the purchase of MeterDesk software licences. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

The products

MeterDesk sells software licences: MeterDesk Audio, MeterDesk Video and the MeterDesk Pro Pack. These are digital products, delivered as licence keys. No physical goods are shipped.

Your licence

When you buy a licence we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use MeterDesk. Each licence may be activated and in use on one computer at a time. You may move it to another machine by deactivating it first, but it may never be active or in use on more than one computer at the same time, and it may not be shared. You may not resell, redistribute, sub-license or reverse-engineer the software beyond what the law allows. Free updates within your purchased version are included. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in euros and include 21% Dutch VAT. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number may qualify for a 0% reverse-charge rate, applied at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

Payment

All transactions are processed in euros (EUR). Payments are handled by Mollie and may include iDEAL, credit card and PayPal. Payment is due in full at the time of ordering, and your order is confirmed once payment is received. We do not store your card details. No licence key is issued until full payment has been received.

Delivery and shipping

All products are digital and delivered electronically, so nothing is physically shipped. Your licence key is sent to your email address and shown in your account, normally immediately after payment is confirmed and at the latest within 24 hours. There are no shipping costs.

Refunds and returns

Because our products are digital licence keys delivered immediately, they cannot be returned once the key has been delivered, and the right of withdrawal described below no longer applies at that point. If a key was never delivered, or if you were charged in error, contact us at meterdesk@bvbav.nl and we will refund the payment to the original payment method. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Right of withdrawal

Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, the following applies. By completing your purchase you expressly request that we begin delivery at once, and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as the licence key has been delivered to you. Until the key has been delivered, EU consumers keep the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.

Support and updates

Support is provided by email at meterdesk@bvbav.nl. Updates within your purchased version are included at no extra cost.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make MeterDesk reliable, but the software is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Our liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the licence, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Acceptable use of this site

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to disrupt it, or access areas you are not authorised to use.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
